A system architecture constitutes a relatively small, intellectually manageable model of system structure, which
describes how system components work together. Instead of creating new system architectures from scratch, a system
engineer can use existing architectural patterns or reference architectures as a starting point.
After an architectural style has been chosen, the system architecture has to be adapted accordingly and the use of the
style has to be documented, e.g., in the Architectural Style Notebook.
Portions of this task are originally from S-Tropos, "Select a System Architectural Style" (originally an activity
within "Architectural Design phase"), described in (Wautelet et al. 2005).
